Terms of service

1. The agreement

Inbecto is business software made and run by Lywin Tech ("Lywin", "we"), based in India. These terms are the agreement between Lywin and the company or person who opens a workspace or an account ("you"). By creating an account, opening a workspace or using Inbecto, you agree to them and to the Privacy policy.

If you use Inbecto for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to agree on its behalf.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older, and the details you give must be true and kept up to date.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done under your sign-in and under the sign-ins of people you invite.
• Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into your account.
• The roles you give your team decide what each person can see and change. Choosing them is your responsibility.

3. Your workspace and your data

Everything you and your team enter into your workspace belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and use it only to provide Inbecto to you.

You decide what is entered. You are responsible for having the right to hold it, including any consent or notice the law requires you to give your own customers and employees, and for what your documents say.

You can take a copy of your records at any time from the lists and reports in your workspace.

4. How we handle personal data in your workspace

For the personal data you put into your workspace, such as your customers and employees, you are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Lywin is your Data Processor. As your processor, we will:

• Process it only to provide Inbecto to you and on your instructions, which these terms and your use of the service set out.
• Keep it confidential, and keep reasonable security safeguards in place to protect it.
• Use other providers to run the service only where they are bound to protect it. They are listed in the Privacy policy.
• Tell you without delay if we learn of a breach that affects it, with what we know, so that you can meet your own duties.
• Help you answer a request from a person about their data, where you cannot do so yourself from your workspace.
• Erase it when you close your workspace and ask us to, unless a law requires us to keep it.

Our own use of your account and billing details is described in the Privacy policy.

5. Plans, trial and payment

• Plans, what each includes and their prices are shown on the pricing page. A free trial, where offered, lasts for the period shown when you start it.
• Plans are paid for in advance, for a month or a year. GST is added where it applies. A plan does not renew by itself: you pay for each further period.
• Payment is made to Lywin. Card, bank and UPI details are entered on the bank's page or in your own UPI app, and are never seen or stored by Inbecto. An invoice or receipt is issued for each payment.
• If a plan is not paid for when it ends, your workspace may become read-only until it is. Your records are kept.
• Payment for a period that has started is not refunded, except where the law requires it or where we are unable to provide the service.
• We may change prices for future periods. A period you have already paid for is not affected.

6. Using Inbecto properly

You agree not to:

• Use Inbecto for anything unlawful, or to hold data you have no right to hold.
• Try to get into another company's workspace, or to get around the limits of your plan or role.
• Disturb or overload the service, test it for weaknesses without our written agreement, or copy it to build a competing product.
• Resell Inbecto or let people outside your company use your workspace, other than your own customers opening a document you have sent them.

7. Quotations, invoices and tax

Inbecto helps you prepare quotations, invoices, payslips and reports. It is a tool, not an accountant or a lawyer. The rates, GST treatment, HSN and SAC codes, terms and figures on your documents are yours to set and to check, and you are responsible for the documents you issue and the returns you file. Ask a qualified adviser where you are unsure.

8. The assistant and other automatic features

Some features use AI: the assistant that answers questions about your workspace, the reading of site camera photos, and voice commands. They can be wrong. Check anything that matters before you act on it. They are not a substitute for supervision on site or for professional advice.

9. Claude and other services you connect

You may connect your workspace to Claude, made by Anthropic, or use other services alongside Inbecto. That is your choice. What such a service does with what it reads or writes on your instruction is governed by its own terms, and you are responsible for what you ask it to do in your workspace. You can disconnect it at any time.

10. The apps

The Inbecto apps for phones are provided through the app stores, whose own terms also apply. Prices and payment are not shown in the phone apps; plans are bought on the website.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Inbecto available and your data safe, and we improve it often. We do not promise that it will never be interrupted or free of faults. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove something you rely on, we will tell you beforehand where we reasonably can.

Keep your own copies of important documents, as you would with any system.

12. Our software

Inbecto, its name, design and code belong to Lywin. These terms give you the right to use it for your own business while your account is open, and nothing more. If you send us ideas for improving it, we may use them without owing you anything.

13. Closing or suspending

• You can stop using Inbecto at any time, and ask for your account or your whole workspace to be deleted. The steps are on the Delete your account page.
• We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or is required by law to be closed. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you the chance to put things right.
• When a workspace is closed you can ask for a copy of your records before they are erased. Records we must keep by law, such as our invoices to you, are kept for as long as the law requires.

14. Responsibility for loss

Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.

• Beyond that, Inbecto is provided as it is. We are not responsible for loss of profit, business or goodwill, or for indirect loss, arising from your use of it.
• Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Inbecto in the twelve months before the claim arose.
• You are responsible for claims made against us because of data you entered without the right to, or documents you issued.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first so that we can try to settle any dispute directly. Failing that, the courts at the place of Lywin's registered office in India have jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and workspace administrators are told before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Inbecto after that means you accept the new terms.
