Choosing software for an interior, construction or window business
By the Inbecto team ยท Updated
Look for software that follows the job from enquiry to payment: leads and site visits, quotations with drawings and room-wise lines, a WhatsApp link the customer can accept, GST invoices, projects with purchase orders and site reports, costing and profit, and staff attendance and payroll, priced per company rather than per person.
A checklist
| Need | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Quotations with drawings to size | Customers approve faster when they see each window, wardrobe or kitchen |
| Room-wise lines and options | Interior quotes are read room by room, often with two or three versions |
| WhatsApp sharing and online acceptance | Your customers live on WhatsApp, not email |
| GST invoices with HSN and SAC | Billing has to be right the first time |
| Projects, purchases and site reports | Most profit is lost on site, not in the quote |
| Costing and profit per project | You see which jobs make money |
| Attendance and payroll | Site staff check in by phone |
| Works on phones, offline | Sites have poor signal |
| Price per company, not per person | You can add every site supervisor |
