How to

How do I raise a help request with the Inbecto team?

In the help centre press Raise a request, choose a category, describe what happened, add a screenshot if you can, and send. You get a ticket number on screen and by email.

  1. Open Help (in the sidebar, or Search > Help centre) and press Raise a request. On the sign-in page, use Trouble signing in?.
  2. Choose a category (signing in, quotations, money and invoices, payroll, plan and payment, something broken, an idea) and how urgent it is.
  3. Write a short subject and what happened: what you pressed, what you expected, what you saw. Record numbers (INV-0042) help a lot.
  4. Add a screenshot if you can.
  5. Press Send.

You see your ticket number (for example INB-1042) straight away, and an email confirms it. The page you were on and what you searched for are sent with it, so we can see the problem quickly.

Follow it under My requests, or from the link in the email.

How to

How do I reply to, or add to, my help request?

Open My requests in the help centre (or the link in the email), open the request and write your reply. Replying to a resolved request opens it again.

Open Help > My requests and open the request, or press the link in any email about it. Type your reply and press Send. You can add another screenshot. Replying to a Resolved request opens it again.

Please reply on the request rather than raising a new one, so the whole story stays together.

When something goes wrong

Fixing a problem

Who is Inbecto Support in my notices and history?

Someone from the Inbecto team who opened your workspace to help you or to keep the service running. Their changes show as Inbecto Support, they are not part of your team, and every visit is recorded.

Inbecto Support is a person from the Lywin team behind Inbecto. They open a workspace only to give support, for example when you raise a help request, or to keep the service running.

  • They are not members of your company: they are not on your Team page, do not take a seat and do not receive your notices.
  • Whatever they add or change shows as Inbecto Support instead of a name.
  • Every visit is recorded, and only authorised staff can open a workspace.

If you did not expect a change by Inbecto Support, raise a help request and ask what was done.
