Voice commands

Speaking to Inbecto instead of typing. Tap the microphone and say what you want, like "open quotations", "new lead Ramesh" or "find Sharma", in English, Hindi or Hinglish. Voice never deletes anything.

How to

How do I use voice commands?

On a phone, tap the microphone at the top of the screen and speak: "open quotations", "new lead Ramesh", "find Sharma". Choose English or Hindi in the voice panel.

  1. Tap the microphone at the top of the screen (on phones and in the app).
  2. Allow the microphone the first time.
  3. Speak. Things you can say:
  • "Open quotations", "show my work", "go to payroll"
  • "New lead", "add customer", "new expense"
  • "Find Sharma", "search Kulkarni Interiors"
  • A project's name to open it
  1. The voice panel shows what it heard and answers out loud. Switch Language between English and Hindi (Hinglish works too).

Inside a form, the microphone fills fields you name ("phone 98765 43210"). By voice you can also build a quotation step by step: customer, product, sizes, add, save.

Voice never deletes anything. Words like delete or remove are not carried out by voice.

Quick answer

Can I speak in Hindi?

Yes. Switch the voice panel's Language to Hindi. Hindi and Hinglish ("naya lead", "quotation kholo") are understood.

Open the voice panel, set Language to Hindi, and speak naturally: "naya lead banao", "quotation kholo", "Sharma ji ka project". Names are matched to your records. The choice stays on that device.

When something goes wrong

Fixing a problem

Voice commands are not working

Allow the microphone for the app or browser, check the connection, speak after the panel says Listening, and use Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone. Desktop browsers vary.

  • Microphone permission: in the app, phone Settings > Apps > Inbecto > Permissions > Microphone. In Chrome, the lock icon by the address > Microphone > Allow.
  • Listening stops at once: another app (a call, WhatsApp voice note, music) may be holding the microphone. Close it and try again.
  • Hears the wrong words: speak a little slower, close to the phone, away from site noise. Switch the language to match how you speak.
  • No voice answer: the phone may be on silent or its text-to-speech voice is missing (Settings > Accessibility > Text-to-speech).
  • On a computer: voice depends on the browser; Chrome and Edge work best.

Voice needs a connection on most phones.
